What we collect
– Email address (required) and, if you choose to share it, your name.
– Technical data collected automatically by our email/website provider (e.g., IP address, device, approximate location, open/click events).
Why we collect it (lawful basis)
– Consent: to send you the Age of Her Art newsletter and early-access updates about Her Art Circle (double opt-in).
– Legitimate interests: to keep our service secure, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate engagement so we can improve content.
How we use your data
– To deliver emails you requested, manage your subscription, and provide launch updates for Her Art Circle.
– To measure performance (opens, clicks), troubleshoot delivery, and improve our content and site.
Who processes your data (processors)
– Beehiiv (newsletter + site hosting) processes subscriber data and analytics on our behalf.
– Cloudflare Email Routing forwards replies sent to [email protected] to our inbox.
– If you email us, your message is processed by our email provider (e.g., Gmail/Google Workspace or another SMTP host, when used).
These providers act as “processors” under GDPR and may store data in the EU and/or the US with appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).
International transfers
If data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms (such as SCCs) provided by our processors.
Retention
We keep your data while you remain subscribed. We periodically remove unconfirmed or inactive contacts. You can unsubscribe at any time (link in every email).
Your rights
You can access, correct, delete, export your data, or withdraw consent at any time. To exercise rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with CNIL (France’s data protection authority).
